The Wynyard Whakapapa

The Wynyard Whakapapa incorporates a whole lot of stories which have been passed down through the generations. These stories are interesting and, at times, hard to read.
The Wynyards arrived in New Zealand as colonisers, but those that stayed (the children of Robert Henry Wynyard) soon became part of the fabric of New Zealand society both Māori and Pākehā.
The purpose of this blog is to bring together some of those stories and to consider them from our current perspective.
I will try to be honest, even when it is hard.
