Major General Robert Henry Wynyard - his life in Aotearoa

Amongst the many family documents I have recently come into possession of is a thesis about RHW's contribution to the early government in Aotearoa. The thesis was written by Peter Scott Werry from Hastings as part of his Masters degree which he submitted in the 1960's. At that time Peter was happy for his thesis to be shared with family.

I have scanned the document from the typed version in two parts as it is so big. This document gives insight into some of the early political decisions which were made in this country in the 1850's; and also into the sort of person RHW was.
